TP Hạ Long: Thắp nến tri ân các anh hùng liệt sỹ.

Kỷ niệm 77 năm Ngày Thương binh - Liệt sỹ 27-7 (1947 - 2024), tối 26/7, Ủy ban MTTQ Thành phố và các đoàn thể, tổ chức chính trị, xã hội đã tổ chức chương trình thắp nến tri ân các anh hùng liệt sỹ tại các nghĩa trang liệt sỹ trên địa bàn. Dự buổi lễ có đồng chí Vũ Văn Diện, Ủy viên BTV Tỉnh ủy, Phó Chủ tịch TT UBND Tỉnh; Nguyễn Tiến Dũng, Phó Bí thư Thành ủy, Chủ tịch UBND Thành phố; Nguyễn Ngọc Sơn, Phó Chủ tịch UBND Thành phố và cán bộ, nhân dân Thành phố.

Thực hiện đạo lý “Uống nước nhớ nguồn”, hàng năm, TP Hạ Long đều tổ chức các hoạt động thiết thực, ý nghĩa nhằm bày tỏ sự tri ân sâu sắc đối với các Anh hùng Liệt sĩ, thương, bệnh binh, gia đình chính sách, người có công với cách mạng trên địa bàn. Chương trình thắp nến tri ân các anh hùng liệt sỹ tại các nghĩa trang là một trong số các hoạt động đó.

Trong không khí trang nghiêm, xúc động các đại biểu, lực lượng vũ trang và nhân dân Thành phố đã dành phút mặc niệm tưởng nhớ các Anh hùng Liệt sĩ; dâng hương, hoa và cùng thắp sáng những ngọn nến lung linh gửi gắm tấm lòng tri ân và sự thành kính, biết ơn sâu sắc của thế hệ hôm nay đối với các Anh hùng Liệt sĩ, những người con anh hùng của đất mẹ, những người chiến sĩ đã quyết tử cho Tổ quốc quyết sinh, anh dũng hy sinh vì sự nghiệp đấu tranh giải phóng dân tộc, xây dựng và bảo vệ Tổ quốc.

Chương trình Lễ thắp nến tri ân các Anh hùng Liệt sĩ được TP Hạ Long tổ chức nhằm phát huy truyền thống đạo lý “Uống nước nhớ nguồn”, “Đền ơn đáp nghĩa” của dân tộc. Qua đó góp phần bồi đắp trong các tầng lớp nhân dân của Thành phố về truyền thống cách mạng, lòng yêu nước, tự hào dân tộc.
